Training
The training skills in use come from years of working with and around some of the top trainers in the mountain horse breed and hands on experience. Extensive desensitization is a key element in the training process. The farm has trained some of the top show winners in the breed, all of which are also outstanding trail mounts.
Trail training at Stride Right Farms actually occurs on mountain trails on Squak Mountain State park that adjoins the property to time in the Alpine Wilderness of the Cascade Mountains.
